Animals have always been an important part of Kari Anne’s life. She currently has two Siberian Huskies: Lexi and Jackson. When she was younger, she volunteered at the Jackson Zoo in Mississippi by educating children on various small animals. Her friends and family expected her to become a veterinarian, but pharmacy compounding caught her interest in college, offering the best of both worlds in helping animals receive individualized medications.

Laura enjoys helping owners find the best ways to help their pets. She loves all kinds of animals and has quite a menagerie – including cats, dogs, a parakeet, a rabbit, a ferret, a bearded dragon, a small flock of chickens, ducks, turkeys, and two horses (one’s a mini). She is a member of the Society of Veterinary Hospital Pharmacists (SVHP) and contributes the PHP Pete article to our quarterly newsletter.
